The London Borough of Hackney is blazing a trail for other local authorities with the introduction of a wide range of at-work driving safety initiatives that has seen the council become a ‘business champion’ under the Government-backed ‘Driving for Better Business’ campaign, which is delivered by RoadSafe.
RoadSafe through its Driving for Better Business Campaign is partnering with the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) in its new project PRAISE,which aims to advance work-related Road Safety Management and provide the know-how to employers who have to take on that challenge.
TyreSafe and RoadSafe, two of the UK’s most influential industry-based road safety organisations, have formalised a reciprocal agreement.
A ‘pain and gain’ ethos to encourage employees to maintain the highest standards of road safety as part of their culture has been introduced at Bethell Group, the most recent organisation to become a ‘business champion’ under the Government’s ‘Driving for Better Business’ campaign.
