A leading name in the Irish logistics sector, Pamela Dennison of W S Dennison, has been recognised by the FTA as one of the 20 UK industry leaders set to drive the sector to new heights in the coming year.

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has reacted to yesterday’s statement by Leeds and Birmingham Councils, that they are delaying the start of their Clean Air Zones, by saying it was the only step available to them, and the right thing to do.

Logistics businesses should take the chance to speak out against the worsening skills shortage, according to FTA, as it calls on industry to support the call for evidence launched by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Road Freight and Logistics.
