Visitors to Renault Trucks Stand L1 at this year’s Truckfest Peterborough will be the first in the UK to see the full Renault Sport Racing line-up, from F1 car to Megane RS 300 Trophy and the Range T520 High Sport Limited Edition. SAll three vehicles feature Sirius yellow paint – the iconic colour of the F1 Renault Sport Racing team – together with the black and check that forms the striking livery of all Renault Sports models.

The result of Renault Trucks and Renault Sport Racing’s pooled expertise in design, manufacturing excellence and technological innovation to create the ultimate in driving performance, the Renault Sport Racing trio promises to be this year’s big draw. Taking pole position on Stand L1 is a Renault R30-02 F1 car, featuring the Renault RS27-2010 2,400cc (146.5 cu in) 90° V8, limited to 18,000 RPM, naturally aspirated mid-mounted engine matched to a seven-speed semi-automatic titanium gearbox with reverse gear ‘Quickshift’ system. Weighing in at just 620kg including driver, this precision-engineered machine has raced at eight Grand Prix, placing 6th at Yas Marina with driver Vitaly Petrov, and 8th at Monza with Robert Kubica.

At the other end of the scale, visitors will have the opportunity to view the limited edition 44 tonne T High Renault Sport 6×2 Pusher TML, equipped with a flat floor cab and an outstanding combination of space, comfort and well-appointed working and living areas appealing to both drivers and operators alike. Performance comes from Renault Trucks’ 13-litre DTi engine rated at 520hp which is coupled to an Optidriver 12-speed automated transmission system. With only ten T High Sports being made available in right hand drive form, this is a rare chance to see this prestige model up close. Production quality reveals itself in the finest details of this limited edition: yellow overstitched leather upholstery, triple-coat paint technology, well-considered finishes and interior styling.

Alongside the F1 car and T High Sport on the Renault Trucks stand is the limited edition Renault Megane R.S. 300 Trophy. Featuring 4Control 4-wheel steer system, R.S. Drive activation button, Sport chassis with PerfoHub and 4 hydraulic compressions stops, performance comes from Renault’s 4 cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine, with 6-speed manual gearbox. The exterior of this very special Megane has been spec’d to impress, with R.S. Vision high performance lighting system, ‘Jerez’ triple tone 19” alloys, extended front and rear wheel arches, rear spoiler, sills & skirt with flat bottom effect. Inside, the R.S. sports seats with integrated headrests, R.S. leather and Alcantara steering wheel with R.S. badging, chrome-plated RS front door sills and carbon black RS fabric upholstery with red stitching.

At Truckfest 2019, Renault Trucks will also debut the Master High, the perfect companion for urban and longer haul operations offering excellent payloads at both 3.5t and 4.5t. Based on the Master Double Crew Cab, this top spec’ conversion is by Bloomfields with lightweight six pallet curtainsider body by P.D Stevens & Sons. A full size single bunk, internal storage, a standing height of over 2 metres as well as a fold down table, night heater, DVD player and TV screen ensure comfortable nights away.

Visitors to Stand L1 will enjoy the very best of Renault Trucks hospitality, as well as the opportunity to explore the commercial vehicles on display, including selected vehicles from the Used Trucks by Renault Trucks range.
