England is moving to a local restriction tier system from Wednesday, December 2.

This means that a series of restrictive measures will be in place to help stop the spread of coronavirus. Local restriction tiers will be reviewed every 14 days, with the first review on 16 December.

The DVSA has confirmed that that its specialist testing services, including IVA, can continue across all tiers with COVID-19 secure measures in place.

The DVSA will continue to provide assessors to conduct specialist testing.

Across all tiers, you and DVSA staff must wear a face covering in communal areas indoors eg: kitchens and in corridors. There are some exemptions from wearing a face covering.
