RSA updates stakeholders on CVRT reforms

Over the past few years, the Road Safety Authority (RSA)  has developed and implemented a reform programme aimed at making the roads safer for everyone by raising the standard of commercial vehicles on our roads. This is called the Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (CVR) Reform Programme and it has as its origin two serious bus crashes in Kentstown and Clara where six schoolchildren were killed and questions were raised about the roadworthiness of commercial vehicles on our roads.
