Scania appointments
Thursday, July 29th, 2010James Armstrong, currently Aftersales Director for Scania (Great Britain) Limited, has been appointed to the position of Managing Director of Scania South East Asia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, James will take up his new role on 1 September 2010.
Succeeding James is Mark Grant, currently Bus, Coach and Engine Sales Director for Scania (Great Britain) Limited. Since joining the organisation 17 years ago, Mark has worked in a number of positions in Aftersales, Contracts, Customer Services and, latterly, overseeing the development of Scania’s UK passenger carrying vehicles and industrial/marine engines operations.
In turn, Mark will be succeeded by Tony Tomsett, who is promoted from his current position, General Manager – Service Operations. Tony is another long serving member of staff, with 13 years of experience within the Scania (Great Britain) Limited organisation. In addition to Service Operations, he has also managed the company’s commercial and technical training functions.
